HOPE (Konstantinos Ntagkas)
Baraka Art Space is pleased to launch the second show of the exhibition program of 2023, entitled “Baraka Ab ovo”, commissioned to curator Faidra Vasileiadou to design three different exhibitions for this summer on the island of Spetses.
The hosted curator, invites the artist HOPE (Konstantinos Ntagkas) to present his solo show entitled “Chapter Two: Nascent”.
HOPE displays a main body of his artistic experience by producing new artworks with different mediums, but related to his signature style: an excavation of contemporary archaeology.
Carrying the past into the present, the artist transforms vessels and large-scale prints into deeply fascinating entities within a universe of new age sacred symbols.
Like reminiscent of alien forms, HOPE narrates a timeless story of a hybrid cosmos, otherworldly and yet so familiar, within the framework of Baraka’s summer program in Spetses.
